The Underground has been a little quiet of late and while summer waves good bye in the distance, artistic projects begin to take priority again over the beer and sunshine. The woodwork has begun to creak with the weight of new music about to burst onto the scene and first to the line is one of Underground double H's favourite lyricists - Gasp. The brand new video I'm A Raver has just hit the airwaves and it's so friggin huge that we simply HAD to get it out to you lot.
Gasp has always been one to raise the bar with his products. His lyricism proudly stinks of someone who has a desire to push his own limits and his wisely chosen beats are ones that scream out for an attitude and epic delivery. And then come the videos. A far far stretch from the likes of those rapping in front of the lens with a mock-hop stance and arms likened to first stage Parkinson's, Gasp's visual offerings are art pieces. Works that would suit a gallery wall as much as a sick piece of graff would suit a freshly painted wall. Back with long time collaborator 0405 Photography, the video and track merge to create a Sistine Chapel of a hip hop joint.
Underground HH is glad to see Gasp back on his thrown and we're hoping this is the precipice to a new full length release. Go watch the vid and do yourself a big favour and grab a stack of Gasp's healthy back catalogue. Gasp Music.
