Shire Roots Deep Lands Video Drops
Out this week is a roots infused UK hip hop video coming from one of my 2015 faves. Taken from the 'Vibes Grow' EP by the brilliant Shire Roots comes 'Deep Lands'. Directed by film maker Aodh Breathnach, the video follows the Shire rambler on a trek through forests and factory settings, through ruins and far stretching scenery, all while a sinister gas masked character flips in and out.
The cinematography is colourful and interesting and it accompanies the track well. Deep Lands is a roots fueled countryman with a proud UK hip hop stance. Shire Roots brought a great EP in 2016, with some great polished videos to display its diversity. We at the UGHH office are excited to see what comes next from their corner of the UK underground.
