Hot off the presses this week is the brand new single from one of Underground HH's 2015 favorites. Iceski, legendary UK MC and Germany's number one producer extraordinaire Merlin have come together to form one of the most energy fueled crews to hit our airwaves, and this new release is testament to the fire they create. There is a beast banging and scraping at hip hop's front door... Enter The Badman.
Hitting like an orchestra in a riot, the track builds into a ruckus of violin riffs and scratches from Tones that showcase his skills as one of the best in the game. Iceski is a voice synonymous with UK hip hop. Hailing from the much worshiped britcore scene and having a presence for the last two decades with The Criminal Minds, his rhymes and delivery are always a pleasure when they're beating their syllables on the ear drums. The track is a proud flag for freedom flying in the winds of change, on a battlefield for your attention, with the bodies of hip hop warriors strewn left and right and an enemy of media madness charging towards you. In other words - it friggin' rocks.
Together Iceski and Merlin make a unique and addictive soundscape, and with Tones as their wing man, they must scare the enemy half to death. With Mr Tibbz once again on the brilliant cover design, they make a complete package to stand up at the front line and die for. This is hip hop at it's best. With rumours in the pipeline of their next wax on the way for 2016, Underground HQ are excited to see what comes next.
