Gasp Heather Video Review
We're big fans of what the Scottish scene brings out here at Underground HQ. The stream of talent flowing from the North side of 'the wall' is quite frankly, an ocean. We're also big big fans of the Glasgow scene. From Southside Deluxe to Toy Control, the producers and MCs from this dot on the landscape are some of the most hard working and dedicated i know. One of their number who we've championed before is the all rounder - Gasp. I say all-rounder because he has his fingers in the art he presents at every step of the journey. His brand new video 'Heather' is no exception to his brilliant catalogue of music.
Taken from his latest offering 'The Bouquet' (which we've lined up for you to listen to below), the track is perfectly produced by another multi-talented hip hop head - Physiks. With a smoke soaked jazz club atmosphere, and Gasp's fantastic story-telling delivery, the song talks honestly to the audience and offers them a chair at the front table. The video is a peep-show style glimse into the life of a women getting ready to face the world, which seems to fit well with the emotion in the track itself.
