Habits is the 3rd joint release and 1st full length album from the English/American duo, consisting of Sik Sense reigning from Leicestershire and handling all the production (with a spot of rapping here and there) and Dyslexia from Virginia lacing the beats with an onslaught of quality rhymes. Back in August they dropped their 17 track release titled Habits and we've been giving it some rotation in the last few days and thoroughly enjoyed its authentic sound, top notch production, quality pengame/wordplay and subject matter! We're going to cherry pick a couple of the songs we enjoyed, so check them out below but ensure to have listen to the entire Habits album!
The first track we've chosen is Escapism which oozes the vibes of a haunted asylum while it gradually draws you into the unknown abyss. Dyslexia approaches it with laid back delivery, picture painting execution, strong presence and an abundance of conscious infused rhymes. Check out Escapism below via their official bandcamp page.
Vultures is the 9th track from Habits and features an eerie but mesmerizing, tranquil beat by Sik Sense with Dyslexia riding the vibrations on a conscious and food for thought tip! Sik Sense also laces the second verse, resulting in a nice contrast of styles, delivery and flow! Vulture is a flawless track to get acquainted with their style and output, clock it below.
Track 15 is titled Precious Little Hope featuring a short intro skit soon breaking out into some next level production by Sik Sense, bending the space and time continuum with the vibes it outputs. The flows displayed by Dyslexia & Sik Sense are neck jerking in every sense, foot snappin with every rhyme delivered while flawlessly showcasing their versatility with the rhymes.
Make sure to grab yourself a copy of Habits featuring a total of 17 tracks for a mere $7 which equates to £4.60 when you convert it! It's an absolute bargain and a stella release, so these heads are well worth your cash commitment! Check out their official bandcamp page below and treat yourself in time for the weekend. Already kicking off the year to a flying start work has began work on some new mixtapes and EP's together along with Sik Sense working on many of the Fugitive 9 solo releases!
