Chairman Maf is the name and eloquent and tranquil production is his game, born and raised in Cambridge he's been an avid part of the scene with his craftsmanship and work ethic. Blessing us with one more release before 2014 is over, we're glad to announce Chairman Maf has dropped his latest production album titled Paint featuring a total of 13 tracks and carrying a price tag of £2.99! We had to get involved and review his latest release so Let's go!
Paint is 13 tracks of steezejuice. The first vocal sample on 'Cheat' sucks you in like a thirsty whore; the audial hypnotisations carries on till the simultaneously spacey/gritty tones of ‘You and Me’. Chairman Maf uses a combination of soulful melodies and entrancing vocal samples to create a 46 minute world which is far more than just a collection of beats, dude successfully molded an instrumental album which stands out as a piece of art, with themes of love, tranquility & betrayal without writing any lyrics.
One of the tracks that I rate the highest is Sundown. The g funk-esque keys paired with the female vocals build an atmosphere that lifts me out of this dingy poorly lit room, onto a beach in California, enjoying the sunset with a beautiful woman by my side and some Cali medicinal. Shit’s bliss. The production quality on the album is top shelf, and the artwork is clean af, props to Chemo & Triple dot Beast for their contributions to this dope body of work.
We hope you've enjoyed what we've had to say about Chairman Maf's Paint album, do not take our word for it though and head over to his official bandcamp page below and grab yourself a timeless release that'll have you vibing in different dimensions for a small fee of £2.99! Get it now!
