Natrill is based in Norfolk and has been building a buzz on the Dont Flop battle circuit for the last year, absolutely smashing accapella and on beat battles we quickly became a fan. After viewing him break down his opponents with barbaric flows and hard hitting pengame time and time again, we knew it was time to check out what this breddas been doing in the studio. A little bit later than everyone else I've finally got around to grabbing a free download of his And You're Back In The Room EP featuring 6 tracks. Let's not delay any further and get into review mode!
The EP kicks off with Preach starting off with some cuts from Natrill until the beat completely drops, ready for Natrill to ride with his neck breaking flows and delivery, infused with quality pen game throughout! It's a flawless example of the vibes you'll get from the EP and more importantly from Natrill. Check it out below.
Still is an absolute boombap banger, building the hype with the beat Natrill is let loose to release pound for pound bars about stagnating in the same spot, while the rest of us move on! Dreams has one of the illest beats on the EP, with underlying tones of circus music it's a banger for Natrill to ride, he does exactly that with effortless flows and rhymes focused on manufacturing your own dream, despite the current status of things around you by always staying on a high! Certified dope.
Money is definitely my favorite track from the EP, Natrill engulfs the beat with mockeries of our modern day obsession of money, how it controls, divides and generally leaves us all down a path of fuckry and oppression. Check out the track below and peep the lyrics for the second verse further down.
Making Music features tranquil and laid back vibes on the beat, creating a solid platform for Natrill to get reflective on! Natrill rhymes over the vibes with bars explaining exactly why he does what he does, lacing beats for personal enjoyment and not chasing the fame game. Standard. Last track on the EP is a bite of a bonus, titled Drops and being a fan of Don't Flop - I already know what to expect! If you don't then hit below and get to know!
I hope you've enjoyed my late review of Natrill's And You're Back In The Room EP, if you caught it when it dropped you probably already agree with me, however if you haven't then grab your download below for FREE and let us know what you think.
