SmackTown Powerless Chelsea Grin Album Review

Today we're breaking the rules a little and featuring some overseas heads who go by the name of Smacktown, a duo featuring Chico Cas and N3 reigning from Sydney, Australia. They've been busy with their EP titled "Powerless \ Chelsea Grin" which dropped earlier in the year and was well received, signed to the Fight Music! Record label they are bringing a completely unique approach to the Aussie hip hop scene but more importantly the genre as a whole.

The entire Powerless / Chelsea Grin EP from Smacktown is energetic from start to finish compact with influences spanning more genres than I can count, the beats are barbaric the subject matter screams anarchy, the rhymes are on point and pack a punch with flows that'll get your neck snappin with every track. The EP also features two overseas new age emcees from the shorts of America with Jarren Benton & Jeff Turner letting their furious rhymes complimenting Smacktowns style with ease, a solid collaboration and the chemistry between them works with ease.

They decided to turn "Powerless" into the EP's single and got a video created by Wander Productions and it's an absolute banger, from the track to the video it's a flawless example of what to expect from Smacktown and the rest of their Powerless / Chelsea Grin EP! Check it out below.
