Greasy Vinyl representative and emcee Sleaze recently hooked up with Blah Records producer Reklews to drop a 7 track release titled 'An Album Called The Sun' which dropped earlier this year. You can expect to hear Reklews laying down flawless beats which range from hyper to tranquility while Sleaze laces it with an array of greasy flows and vivid pen game, alongside Sleaze you can expect to hear a verse from Jman, Bill Shakes and Res on the release!
Hazy Vision starts off with an eerie loop awaiting Sleazes opening verse in which he delivers his bars with cold delivery airing out exactly why he's a don. The Sun has a straight up neck jerkin beat you can't help but bop along, Sleaze lights it up with nang wordplay, elusive delivery and straight up bars! Next up is Mario Stanza featuring greasy viynl associate Jman and Blah Records very own Bill Shakes, each emcee attacks the beat with rawness while Reklews distorts reality with a beat of extraterrestrial nature! Check out the official video by Lee Scott below.
Heads Will Know is possibly our favorite track off An Album Called The Sun, the beat is absolutely nuts blending from tranquil to pound for pound allowing Sleaze to build his momentum and rhymes accordingly, but wait - there's more! Res also laces it with a verse of his own cementing the point of this track, these boys won't be getting knocked off their spot anytime soon. Heads Will Know also features an official video for the track, hit the play button below, blaaaoww!
Passing Thru is the track that'll light up your third eye and illuminate your inner being, the beat paints vivid imagary of floating down a tranquil stream of consciousness and Sleaze enforces this with his self reflecting bars! If you haven't heard this yet or got yourself a copy, it's worth it just to hear this track! Cuttin Papes is the last track on the album and wraps up the release nicely with Sleaze switching up his delivery but still keeping it greasy with the pen game.
An Album Called The Sun is without a doubt worth the price tag costing a mere £4.99 you can guarantee not a penny is wasted as Sleaze and Reklews have produced something here to be truly proud of! You can grab your copy from Bandcamp or via their official Greasy Vinyl website! Stay tuned for more on Greasy Vinyl and Blah Records!
