Dual Sides is the Ceiling Demons debut LP, which follows on from where ‘The Ceiling Demons EP’ left off - taking you on a journey through dark times to help you appreciate the lighter days and we're happy to say that's still the running theme for Dual Sides. The album features a total of 13 tracks with most being written and performed by Psy Ceiling and Dan Demon with the majority of production being handled by George Ruston and Euan Kearney!
The album kicks off with 'Demons' featuring a demonic beat laced with poetic pen game and back to backs between Psy Ceiling and Dan Demon. Mendacity is next up and continues with the high quality production, a tranquil beat enabling both emcees to be let loose and oozes their lyrical wizardry! An official video for Mendacity has also been released, check it out below and enlighten your senses!
Skipping track 3 (for no particular reason) we find ourselves on 'Every Step Is Moving Me Up' which features an uplifting positive beat for you to vibe too, both emcees also light the track a flame with nothing but progressive bars to overcome the darkness and see the light! Without a doubt one of my favourite tracks from the album.
Amputated Spirit begins with a skit laced over another beat of extraterrestrial nature, Beat Demon also features on the track spitting alongside the emcees focusing on the issues and lifestyle that comes with substance abuse.
The Mirror's Image starts off with the jingle of a children's mobile and blends into a beat that builds flawlessly topped off with pen game revolving around being heart broken and the rage which follows, we've all been there. Skipping a few more tracks (seriously, go grab yourself a copy!) we find ourselves on the last track titled 'Heartstrings' which eases in with a beat of pure euphoria! The lyrics are purely focused on extending your love to those around you and not allowing jealousy or greed to overcome the positivity that the world needs, but more importantly lacks!
Make sure you get yourself a digital/hard copy of Dual Sides from The Ceiling Demons below and support there movement! It's jam packed with real lyrics and not bloated out with meaningless subject matter and the beats on the album...? Absolutely insane!
